Private Lessons with Mark Harrison
Welcome to our Private Lessons page. Mark Harrison welcomes students at all levels, from serious beginners through to working professionals.
Mark Harrison offers private instruction in pop & jazz keyboard, theory and harmony, ear training, composing, arranging, and computer music production, at his home studio in West Hills, California (about 25 miles north-west of downtown Los Angeles, on the western end of the San Fernando Valley). Mark will create a complete, personalized private lesson plan for you, to help you reach your musical goals in an efficient and affordable way...and have fun doing it!

Mark has a wealth of private and classroom teaching experience (including six years at the famous Grove School of Music), and is unique among Los Angeles-area educators in that he has authored a complete range of internationally-published music instruction books, which are available for use in the lessons as needed. Many of his students study multiple areas simultaneously i.e. theory together with ear training, jazz keyboard together with composition, and so on.

Mark's students also include songwriters who need help producing professional arrangements and recordings using today's computer technology. In his professional work, Mark regularly uses today's top 'digital audio workstations' (such as Logic, Digital Performer and Reason) together with the latest virtual instrument 'plug-ins'. Mark can train you in these exciting technologies, and/or assist with the production of your tracks using his computer music studio facility.
