All the music examples in Chapters 1 and 2 of the Gospel Keyboard Styles book are available on an audio CD. This is a great way to speed up the learning process, as you get to hear (as well as see) the examples! The CD is especially helpful if your sight-reading is at a beginning level.
Please note that:
- As the Gospel Keyboard Styles book is a derivative of The Pop Piano Book, all of these recorded examples are included in the audio CDs available with the Pop Piano Book.
- All of the examples in Chapters 1 and 2 (the actual "gospel styles" chapters) of the Gospel Keyboard Styles book are included on this CD. For technical reasons, the examples in Chapter 3 (harmony & rhythm review) are not included. However, the Chapter 3 examples are included in the Midi files available with the Gospel book.
- The verbal introductions on each track are the original example numbers from The Pop Piano Book, which are not used in the Gospel book (i.e. the first track is "example number 689"). Please ignore these numbers when listening, and instead use the CD's track listing card to cross-refer each track to the figure number in the Gospel book.
